Surgical Procedures

Dr. Emmett is specially trained in the management of pain and anxiety. Dr. Emmett was extensively schooled in the medical and dental aspects of anesthesia.

Let’s face it, most people don’t want to visit the oral surgeon because of pain associated with dental procedures, and the anxiety which revolves around this pain.

Dr. Emmett is an empathetic practitioner who takes the time to explain all aspects of the upcoming surgery to each and everyone of his patients. Remember Dr. Emmett’s wife is a Pediatric Dentist who practices in the same building (suite 109), therefore he treats many children with oral surgery needs as well. If he can comfortably treat and relieve the anxiety of children, he can do the same for you.

Dr. Emmett offers a wide array of anesthetic techniques which include local anesthesia, oral medication anesthesia, nitrous oxide sedation anesthesia, intravenous sedation and general anesthesia.

After surgery, Dr. Emmett will prescribe medication which will eliminate post operative pain. Dr. Emmett’s goal is to make your oral surgery experience as pleasant as possible before, during, and after surgery.
