| Although not native of Baltimore,
Dr. Emmett has called Baltimore his home for the last 30 years.
After graduating from Randolph Macon College in 1983 he
attended a year of graduate studies at the College of William
and Mary. He graduated from the University of Maryland Dental
School in 1989 in the top percentile of his class. While at
the University of Maryland he was awarded many scholastic
and extra-curricular honors.
After graduation he married Dr. Margery Hernandez, a Pediatric
Dentist. He then practiced one year in a General Practice
Residency with the Veterans Administration Medical Center
in Washington D.C.
Dr. Emmett trained in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for
an additional four years at the Georgetown University Medical
Center in Washington D.C. His specialty training encompassed
work at Georgetown University Hospital, D.C. General Hospital,
the VA Hospital in Washington and the National Institutes
of Health.
In 1994, Dr. Emmett established his practice at St. Joseph
Medical Center in Towson Maryland.
